Registration is open with session registrations closes the end of the week before each session.
The KYSA Summer Soccer Clinics are a series of 1-week programs with daily sessions focused on skill developments led by Coach Dan with the help of his team of qualified assistant coaches.
Summer Soccer will follow our Return to Play guidelines as we strive to ensure the safety of all our players and coaches while providing development activities
We recommend this program to all levels of players but solo-training in a physically-distanced environment may be more enjoyable for those with some soccer experience
The clinics will start in July and more may be added based on the success of each session. Numbers are limited and organized into three coed age groups:
All players MUST have soccer cleats, shin guards and shorts. You must bring your ball and bag to every practice - all must be labelled with your name and sanitized prior to arrival at the part
Location: Moberly Park
2020 Summer Sessions: Monday to Thursday
Last day to register: closes Thursday before each session
Session cancellations due to weather are very rare. Registered players will only receive email updates for cancellations - assume the session will go on rain or shine
Instructions regarding Return to Play precautions will be emailed to every player. guardian and emergency contact. Please follow them carefully.
Registrations are made via our Online Registration System... click below to launch the KYSA registration system and get started.
|Why aren't clinics available for players younger than 2012?||There was lots of discussion regarding including younger players but everyone felt it would be difficult to keep players younger than U9 engaged and physically distanced - we are working on other options for those ages|
|What sanitation protocols will you follow?||Please see our Return to Play plan by clicking here|
|Why does each player get a ball and bag?||We expect every player to arrive at the field sanitized and prepared to play - we felt that having their own ball reduced possible touch-points and put the onus on the family to also be prepared. This also reduced the risk to our coaches by reducing the time they spend with equipment that has been used/touched by others|
|How will I keep track of my ball and bag?||Every player will also receive 3 permanent stickers with their ball/bag - one for the ball, one for the bag, one for your water bottle - all three items will stay in each player's zone during the session. This will make it easy to keep track of each players' items and ensure they leave with their gear|
|What if I leave something behind?||We encourage everyone to keep track of their own equipment as we do not want the coaches handling and disinfecting players' personal gear, this helps protect our staff - unfortunately items left behind by players will be left at the field so please encourage your young athlete to grab everything every time!|
