KYSA U15 Gators win championships
2016 Cup Champions U15 Gators
Congratulations to the U15 Gators who earned the championship with a 1-0 overtime win over AYSC Storm!
The girls were one of three KYSA teams to compete at Cup finals last weekend.
Both the U15 Phoenix and U17 Booted Eagles played close games but had to settle for second place. The Phoenix came back in the second half to tie the game at 2-2 but couldn’t keep the momentum going, eventually losing 4-2 to VUFC.
With only 10 minutes left in the game, the Booted Eagles were tied 0-0 but weren’t able to hang on long enough to force overtime, losing 2-0, also to VUFC.
Three cheers to all three teams for making the Cup finals! You did KYSA proud!
Keep an eye on the U15 Phoenix, who will start their Coastal Cup run in April, in hopes of qualifying for the Provincials.
